Botanical stained glass roundels

This botanical glass-work is inspired by the artisan glass that was sourced for its colours and irregular patterns and textures. Much of it handmade by artisan glass makers in Portland Oregon, the colours are sometimes beautifully bright and these are carefully built in alongside muted tones of lilac and iridescent tints. Sometimes soldered, sometimes resin set, the results can be presented with natural light from a window behind, or mounted in a frame, reflecting coloured shadows onto a wall.
